Finance & Payroll Assistant • Warrington Area | Hybrid Working (2 Days from Home) • £32,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance & Payroll Assistant to join a growing organisation based in the Warrington area. This is a varied position offering exposure to all aspects of transactional finance and payroll within a supportive team environment. This role would suit an experienced Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Payroll Assistant looking to broaden their skills and develop their career. Benefits • Hybrid working (2 days from home) • 31 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service • Study support • Employee discount scheme • Company pension • Career development opportunities within a growing business Key Responsibilities • Process purchase ledger invoices, supplier payments and account reconciliations. • Support monthly payroll processing, including starters, leavers and payroll adjustments. • Maintain accurate financial records, expenses and employee payroll data. • Assist with month-end activities including journals, reconciliations and reporting. • Respond to finance and payroll queries whilst supporting continuous process improvements. About You • Previous experience in a finance, accounts or payroll position. • Knowledge of purchase ledger, reconciliations and payroll processes. • Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems. • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
