Job description

Finance Systems Lead Location: Gloucestershire Working Pattern: 1 day a week in office Contract: Monthly rolling Pay: Daily Rate Key Responsibilities • Lead the implementation, support and continuous improvement of finance systems to meet business and operational needs. • Act as the key contact between Finance, business stakeholders and external system providers. • Manage finance systems configuration, maintenance and enhancements to improve efficiency and financial reporting. • Coordinate system implementation activities, including data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), training and go-live support. • Plan and oversee UAT, ensuring testing is completed, documented and issues are resolved. • Investigate, manage and resolve finance systems issues, working with suppliers and internal users. • Support system upgrades, new functionality and process improvements, ensuring successful adoption across the business. • Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation and testing records to support governance and audit requirements. • Deliver training and provide ongoing support to finance system users. • Collaborate with Finance and wider business teams to identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve system capability. • Monitor system performance, data integrity and financial controls to ensure accurate, reliable reporting. • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, coordinating system changes and communicating progress where required. • Maintain accurate records of system changes, issues and enhancements. • Work in line with organisational Health & Safety and sustainability policies.
