Job Title: Operations Administrator Industry: Financial Services Location: Somerset Salary: up to £36,000 Reference: 10503 Operations Administrator role with a well-established independent financial planning firm, offering a varied position within a friendly, supportive team where you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience. Job Description: Recruit UK are working on behalf of a respected Financial Planning firm to recruit an Operations Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering excellent client service. You'll support the advisers and wider team across all aspects of the client journey, from preparing documentation and processing new business through to maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, who is comfortable managing multiple priorities within a professional financial planning environment. Duties include but not limited to: • Welcome clients and visitors • Answer incoming calls and manage messages • Prepare client meeting packs, appointment confirmations and regulatory documentation • Produce portfolio reports and process Letters of Authority • Assist with investment and product research using industry software/platforms • Prepare client presentations, illustrations and supporting documentation • Complete application forms • Carry out identity verification checks in line with compliance requirements • Process new business and transactions via provider platforms • Liaise with product providers • Maintain accurate client records (IO) • Handle confidential client documentation securely • Manage incoming and outgoing post • Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required Benefits: • Salary up to £36,000 • Pension, PMI, holiday and 1 day wfh a week, or 4 day working week • Friendly, supportive and collaborative working environment • Long-term career stability Skills and Experience Required: • Previous admin experience within a financial planning / wealth management • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload • Professional and confident communication skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office package • Experience using Intelligent Office (Intelliflo) is desirable • Experience using financial planning research tools such as FE Analytics, Iress Exchange or similar is advantageous If you're an experienced Financial Services Administrator looking for your next opportunity within a professional and supportive financial planning firm, we'd love to hear from you.
