Financial Controller

Financial Controller | Tadcaster | Up to £70,000 | Hybrid Ever felt like you're the last to know about decisions that finance should've been in from the start? This one's different. You'll be joining a growing business based in Tadcaster as their Financial Controller, taking full ownership of the finance function and working directly with senior leadership. It's a role built for someone who wants to be in the room, not just sent the minutes afterwards. What you'll be doing: • Owning the monthly management accounts process • Leading budgeting, forecasting and cashflow • Managing year-end accounts and the external audit • Strengthening financial controls and reporting • Overseeing statutory reporting and tax submissions • Business partnering with senior leadership across the business • Driving process improvements as the business grows • Supervising and developing the wider finance team What they're looking for: • Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience • Strong technical accounting background • Comfortable working hands-on and getting close to the detail • Confidence influencing people outside of finance What's on offer: • Up to £70,000 salary • Hybrid working • Direct access to senior leadership • A genuine seat at the table, not just a reporting function If you're ready for a Financial Controller role where your input actually shapes decisions, click apply now
