Job description

• Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers • Previous experience working in high-security clearance buildings (essential) • Relevant certifications (e.g. BAFE, FETA, or equivalent) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the South East. This is a field-based role involving the servicing, maintenance, installation, and inspection of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire safety equipment across a variety of client sites, including high-security environments. Key Responsibilities • Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards (BS 5306) • Conduct routine inspections and provide detailed service reports • Identify and rectify faults or compliance issues • Advise clients on fire safety requirements and best practices • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard • Maintain accurate records and documentation • Represent the company professionally at all times Requirements • Proven experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer (essential) • Previous experience working in high-security clearance buildings (essential) • Relevant certifications (e.g. BAFE, FETA, or equivalent) • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards • Full UK driving licence • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Willingness to undergo security vetting as required Desirable • Experience working in government, defence, or other secure facilities • Additional fire safety qualifications (e.g. alarms, emergency lighting) What We Offer • Competitive salary based on experience • Company vehicle, tools, and uniform • Overtime opportunities • Ongoing training and career development • Supportive team environment How to Apply If you are a skilled Fire Extinguisher Engineer with experience in high-security environments and are looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
