They’re building on decades of underwriting experience while investing in smarter data, stronger broker relationships, and sustainable business growth. This isn’t just another underwriting role — it’s an opportunity to bring your experience and judgement to a team that values both technical skill and real-world insight. Your decisions will be trusted, and you’ll have the autonomy to trade confidently. Who You Are You’re practical, confident, and can make informed decisions on complex risks. You’ll bring: • Solid experience in Motor Fleet underwriting • Motor Trade exposure (helpful, but not essential) • Strong technical and commercial judgement • A track record of building productive broker relationships • Confidence in negotiating and articulating your decisions • A detail-focused, analytical approach You understand that underwriting isn’t just about numbers — it’s about reading the market, understanding the client, and balancing risk with opportunity. What’s On Offer • Annual discretionary bonus • Hybrid working with flexibility • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (buy/sell options available) • Health & wellbeing support, including virtual GP access • Structured career development and mentoring • A collaborative, inclusive culture • Share investment opportunities If you’re looking for a Motor Fleet underwriting role where you can take ownership, influence brokers, and develop your career in a stable, growing insurer, this could be your next step.
