FLOORING FITTER Weymouth Temporary to permanent role Pay rate £15-£22ph DOE Monday to Friday 08.00am to 17.00pm WEEKLY PAID IMMEDIATE START Our client is looking for a FLOORING FITTER to join them on a temporary to permanent basis, if the role becomes permanent you will be expected to go self-employed. We are looking for candidates with experience and hold a valid UK driving licence. You will be responsible for the installation of specialized, durable flooring materials in residential, commercial and industrial settings. This role involves heavy manual labour, subfloor preparation, and assisting in the precise application of materials like vinyl, rubber, or safety flooring. You will be willing to travel across the UK as and when required. • Preparation: Removing existing flooring, scraping, cleaning, and repairing subfloors, and applying levelling compounds or screed. • Installation of safety vinyl, linoleum, rubber, or carpet tiles, particularly in areas requiring hygienic or heavy-duty flooring. • Loading and unloading materials and transporting tools to and from the site. • Measuring, cutting, and shaping flooring materials. • Applying adhesives, sealant, or specialized coverings. • Ability to perform heavy manual labour and work on hands and knees for extended periods. • You must have welding experience. Candidates must hold: • CV showing relevant experience. • Welding experience • UK Driving licence. • Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
