FLT Driver / Machine Minder

Location: Lenwade, Norwich Hours: Fixed either - Day, Evening or Night Shift Potential for Full-Time Clements Young Ltd is currently recruiting for an FLT Driver / Machine Minder on behalf of our client based in Lenwade. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business in a busy production environment. You'll be responsible for operating a forklift, monitoring production machinery, and ensuring products are moved safely throughout the site. This is a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate. The working environment can be dusty and noisy due to the nature of the industry; however, our client is continually investing in modern machinery and equipment to reduce dust levels and improve the overall working environment. Duties will include: • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently • Feeding materials into production machinery • Monitoring machinery to ensure smooth operation • Moving finished products around the site • Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment • Assisting with general production duties as required • Working as part of a team to meet production targets What we're looking for: • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence • Previous experience operating forklifts in a production or manufacturing environment • A positive attitude and willingness to learn • Good reliability and timekeeping • Ability to work safely in a dusty and noisy environment • Safety boots • Own transport due to the location • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay: £14.00 per hour (PAYE) £15.69 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes rolled-up holiday pay) Working Hours: Fixed AM / PM or Nights Monday to Friday Temp to Perm opportunity Apply Today If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that invests in its people and facilities, we'd love to hear from you.
