Food Technology Teacher Full Time | September Start | Kent £174 - £271 per day We are currently recruiting on behalf of Meopham School for a Food Technology Teacher to join their team from 1st September. This is a full-time, temporary position initially running until October half term, with a possibility for the role to be extended beyond this period. The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and practical lessons that inspire students to develop their culinary skills, creativity and understanding of nutrition and food preparation. This role includes planning, preparation and marking, making it an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment. The Role • Full-time Food Technology Teacher • Teaching KS3 and KS4 • Start date: 1st September • Temporary position until October half term, with the potential to extend • Planning, preparation and marking required • Daily rate: £174 - £271, dependent on experience The Ideal Candidate • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply • Has experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level • Can deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills • Is committed to helping every student achieve their potential • Will have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply for one.
