Forklift Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance / Storesperson to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Coventry. This is a hands-on role combining forklift work with general stores duties, supporting both goods-in and production operations within a fast-paced environment. Hours: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday - must be flexible to work rotation shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm during busy periods. Pay rate: £12.83 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent Key Responsibilities: • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently • Loading and unloading deliveries • Moving stock within the warehouse and production areas • Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch • Booking goods in and out using internal systems • Supplying materials to production lines as required • Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate records • Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe • Following all health & safety regulations at all times Requirements • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent) • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environment • Good understanding of stock control processes • Ability to work both independently and within a team • Strong attention to detail and reliability Desirable Skills • Experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP) • Additional forklift licences (Reach, Bendi, etc.) ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
