Foundry OperativeSouth Molton | Earlies & Lates shift premium| Temporary to Permanent | Onsite IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established and busy manufacturing client in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time work with a clear path to permanent employment. Working Pattern • Hours: 6am - 6pm (rotating shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) Key Duties • Knock out moulds to remove shells post casting operation. • Water blast moulds to remove residual shell for band saw operations. • Cut castings using semi-automatic and manual band saws. • Trim casting gates and remove surplus shell/metal. • Dry blast components for a uniform matte finish. • Remove hot moulds to support casting processes. • Pack and identify castings for subcontract processes. • Follow strict health and safety procedures and identify hazards. • Work safely and collaboratively with team members. • Assist team members with daily tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in maintaining safe working practices in challenging environments. • Ability to follow job card routines and set procedures. • Ability to interpret routing cards to meet specified standards. • Ability to identify defects and perform quality checks.
