Front of House/Barista

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House/Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards • Assist with food preparation, including assembling light snacks or baked goods as required • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including counters, tables, and display cases • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and process payments efficiently • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts • Manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritising customer needs while maintaining quality standards Skills • Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene • Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with customers • Basic food preparation skills for assembling simple menu items • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately • Excellent time management to ensure prompt service and minimise wait times • Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills and a professional attitude This role provides an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality to grow their expertise within a supportive team environment.
