Looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant role for the new academic year?Trust Education is currently recruiting for a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Barnsley from September 2026 until July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to become part of a welcoming school community, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 and helping them thrive both academically and personally. The RoleAs a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will: • Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons. • Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted learning support. • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence. • Support children with a range of learning needs where required. • Help create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every child reaches their potential. The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who: • Has previous experience working in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2. • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to making a positive difference. • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
