An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Private Funds Paralegal to join a top tier US firm supporting a broad range of private investment fund matters. Description • Support lawyers throughout the lifecycle of private investment funds, from formation to ongoing operations. • Assist with the preparation, review, and amendment of fund documentation, including subscription agreements and offering materials. • Help coordinate fund closings and transaction processes, maintaining closing checklists and execution documents. • Liaise with clients, investors, and third-party service providers to facilitate efficient communication. • Assist with regulatory compliance matters and the preparation of related filings and records. • Conduct legal and regulatory research relating to private funds and evolving market developments. • Maintain accurate electronic and physical document management systems. • Prepare reports, presentations, trackers, and other supporting materials for the legal team. • Monitor transaction timelines and contribute to project management activities. • Support attorneys with portfolio investment and fund-related transactional matters. • Assist in ensuring documentation is completed accurately and within required deadlines. • Coordinate internal approvals and administrative processes where necessary. • Contribute to the smooth running of the private funds practice through general team support. • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all workstreams. Profile • Previous paralegal experience within private funds, asset management, investment management, corporate, or finance law. • A law degree, GDL, LPC, SQE, or equivalent legal qualification preferred. • Strong understanding of legal documentation and transaction processes. • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience managing documents and maintaining filing systems. • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced professional environment. • Strong client service and stakeholder management skills. • Confident conducting legal and regulatory research. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills. • Interest in private funds, investment management, and financial services.
