Job Title: Gateman / Site Warden Location:Darlington Pay Rate: £17 per hour (Umbrella) Duration: Approx 5 months About the Role: We are looking for a reliable Gateman to manage site access in Darlington. As the first point of contact for the site, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely. Duties Include: • Managing site access, greeting visitors, and directing delivery vehicles safely. • Checking delivery notes and ensuring only authorised personnel enter the site. • Signing workers, visitors, and deliveries in and out. • Ensuring the main gates are secure at all times. • Assisting with light site tidying or banking duties near the gate where required. Requirements: • Valid CSCS card. • Traffic Marshall / Traffic Banker ticket (preferred). • Full PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat). • Previous experience as a Gateman. • Good communication skills, reliable, and punctual.
