ABOUT THE ROLEAs General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a vibrant, person centred care environment. You'll lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional care, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and truly at home - all while meeting regulatory standards and achieving key business goals.Your responsibilities will include:Championing high quality, person centred care based on best practiceDriving recruitment, retention, and development to build a strong, engaged teamActing as a key point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and external professionalsManaging staffing levels to ensure safe, effective care at all timesProviding inspiring leadership that empowers your team to be their bestOverseeing budgets, stock, and resources to ensure efficient, cost effective operations ABOUT YOUYou'll be someone who naturally lives our values - caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable - and brings them into everything you do.Our ideal candidate will:Have at least four years' experience in a similar care environmentHold a Leadership and Management Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)Bring strong leadership and management skillsCommunicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writingBe IT competent and comfortable with digital systemsBe adaptable, flexible, and ready to step in where needed ABOUT AVERYAvery isn't just one of the UK's leading providers of luxury elderly care - it's a place where people genuinely love to work.
