German speaking Account Development Representative - Southampton - £28,000 plus uncapped bonus and excellent benefits - Hybrid role working from the office 4 days a week and 1 day from home Are you a fluent German speaker with a passion for sales and business development? Do you enjoy building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and helping customers find the right solutions? We're looking for a motivated and ambitious German speaking Account Development Representative to join a fast-paced, growing global organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and turning conversations into commercial success. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across a defined territory or customer base. Key Responsibilities • Proactively identify, engage and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales activity. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise account growth and retention. • Follow up on leads, quotations and enquiries to convert opportunities into revenue. • Achieve and exceed sales targets, call activity metrics and other key performance indicators. • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems. • Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate large opportunities, quotations and customer projects. • Monitor account performance and identify areas for growth and cross-selling opportunities. • Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses to enquiries. • Contribute to sales forecasting, budgeting and territory planning activities. What We're Looking For • Languages - German and English essential • Degree educated preferred, or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales, business development or account management environment. • Previous experience in a high-volume outbound sales, telesales or customer contact centre setting is advantageous. • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand sales metrics and performance data. • Highly motivated, resilient and target-driven with a proven ability to achieve results. • Strong relationship-building and customer engagement abilities. • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Confident using CRM systems and sales tools.
