Job description
Our client is looking for a Graduate Audit Associate to join their firm based in Worcestershire. The role is paying between £25-35k (DOE), and requires 2/3 days per week in the hours, with flexible working hours.
What you'll do:
• Prepare accounts files for review by senior members of the team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Assist in the preparation of Corporation tax returns and personal tax files for manager review, contributing to the smooth operation of client portfolios.
• Support managers with their portfolios by helping maintain compliance and providing administrative assistance when required.
• Contribute to bookkeeping tasks and VAT returns as needed, demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members by acting as a buddy to new starters, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Undertake the ACA qualification course across all three levels, attending college sessions and actively engaging in professional development activities.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio holders to ensure timely completion of compliance tasks and effective communication across departments.
• Prioritise workload efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality in all deliverables.
• Utilise excellent IT skills to manage accounts processes and contribute positively to the team's overall performance.
