Grounds Maintenance Operative Salary: £100 – £120 per day Location: Maidenhead Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative looking for a new challenge Our client, a professional tree surgery and grounds maintenance company based in Maidenhead, is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in grounds upkeep and an enthusiasm for outdoor work. In this role, you will contribute to the maintenance of various landscapes, ensuring they are always looking their best. Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience as a Grounds Person, or Grounds Maintenance Operative. • Full UK driving licence (trailer entitlement is advantageous). • Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery, including chippers, stump grinders, and mowers. • NPTC / LANTRA qualifications and chainsaw certificates are desirable. • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work. • Ability to work effectively within a team. Key Responsibilities: • Grass cutting, strimming, hedge maintenance, and general grounds upkeep. • Operating a range of machinery, ensuring safe and efficient usage. • Supporting tree surgery and arboriculture operations. • Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite at all times. • Assisting with fencing, landscaping, and estate maintenance tasks.
