Group Financial Controller

Role - Group Financial Controller Location - Bolton Salary - Between £80,000 and £100,000 + additional benefits Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed business in their search for a Group Financial Controller to work out of their office based just outside Bolton with a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working within a PE backed environment previously would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Group Financial Controller role will involve: • Responsible for the group consolidated financial statements • Lead on the timely delivery of management reporting • Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation • Assist with providing financial information for acquisitions • Prepare and review year end statutory accounts • Responsible for the group VAT • Budgeting and forecasting • Produce and present key financial reporting • Management of a sizeable finance team Salary for the role is up to £100,000 + benefits This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically savvy individual who wants to work for a cash rich organisation who are continually evolving and acquiring new businesses.
