Haematology Application Specialist
Location: Field-Based (UK & Ireland)
Salary: £51,111 + 25% Annual Bonus
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

We are working with a leading provider of innovative diagnostic solutions seeking a knowledgeable Haematology Application Specialist to deliver expert support, training and technical assistance across client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site customer support including equipment installation, training, troubleshooting and performance verification in haematology laboratories.
• Deliver comprehensive training sessions both in-person and remotely through webinars to ensure high competency levels.
• Respond promptly to technical inquiries via telephone, offering expert resolution and follow-up.
• Collaborate with technical teams for complex investigations and software upgrades.
• Maintain detailed documentation, CRM records and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Actively contribute to the development of training programs and online learning platforms.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety and environmental guidelines.
What You'll Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' laboratory experience, ideally band 6 or higher.
• At least 2 years in a commercial, customer-facing role.
• Strong haematology knowledge and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret scientific documentation and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Proficient organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with haematology instrumentation and laboratory information systems (LIMS).
• Familiarity with digital morphology and flow cytometry.
• Knowledge of ISO15189 and laboratory audit processes.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
