Hands on Programme Manager - Loan Book Migration - RFI Hands on Programme Manager - Loan Book Migration - RFI Programme Manager contract opportunity with a prestigeous financial services organisation This is a highly visible transformation piece with direct exposure to senior leadership. We need someone who can mobilise quickly, operate at C suite level and drive a strategic recommendation through to delivery, with strong experience of loan book data migrations and running RFI/RFP initiatives. Role Details • Location: Central London - Hybrid working. 2 days per week onsite. • Duration: Initial 3 month contract (Likely extensions) • Rate: Up to £900 per day inside IR35. • Start: Immediate availability strongly preferred. The successful contractor will lead a short, high impact discovery and mobilisation phase, of an RFI initiative to provide alternative solutions to their current loan book set-up, producing recommendations for the CFO and senior stakeholders within 6 to 8 weeks before taking the chosen solution through implementation. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end assessment of future loan book platforms and associated risks. • Develop a range of strategic options, including technology platforms, vendors, costs and implementation approaches. • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C suite executives and the CFO. • Lead the RFI process and work closely with procurement throughout supplier selection. • Identify and engage suitable external suppliers and platform providers. • Challenge assumptions and proactively identify risks, issues and dependencies. • Produce clear recommendations and business cases to support executive decision making. • Drive mobilisation and oversee delivery of the selected solution. • Work closely with an experienced Business Analyst who has already started the RFI process following a recent discovery workshop. • Remain hands on throughout, balancing strategic leadership with practical programme delivery. Required Experience • Proven hands on Programme Manager • Strong experience delivering complex data transformation or data strategy programmes • Experience leading supplier selection, RFI and procurement activities. • Ability to operate at executive level and influence senior stakeholders. • Strong programme and project management credentials with a hands on delivery style. • Experience assessing operational viability, solution options and business cases. • Demonstrable experience working on loan book, lending, loan servicing or loan management related programmes. • Solid understanding of the loan life-cycle, interest calculations and lending data structures. Background • Financial Services organisations with significant lending portfolios. This is a critical piece of work that needs someone who can hit the ground running, make decisions quickly and provide credible challenge and leadership from day one.
