Head of Data Engineering

Head of Data Engineering I'm partnered with a high-growth Series C fintech that is looking to hire a Head of Data Engineering to lead and scale its data platform as the business continues its rapid growth. You'll lead a team of data engineers, define the technical roadmap, and work closely with engineering, product and data leadership to build a modern, scalable data platform that supports both analytics and AI initiatives. They're looking for someone with: • Previous experience leading and growing Data Engineering teams • Strong hands-on background with modern cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Expertise across Python, SQL and data orchestration tools such as Airflow • Experience building scalable data pipelines and data platforms in a fast-paced fintech or technology environment • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence technical strategy In return, they offer a highly competitive salary, bonus, equity, flexible hybrid working, and the opportunity to shape the data function at one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech businesses.
