Job description

We are seeking an experienced Head of HR Systems to lead and optimise HR technology solutions within a multi site Leisure/Retail Business. This role is based in Derbyshire and requires expertise in managing HR systems (pinned around Workday) to drive organisational efficiency and effectiveness. 2 days in the office and 3 from home. Client Details Our client is a well-established and reputable organisation within the multi site Leisure/Retail industry. Operating as part of a large organisation, they are committed to delivering exceptional experiences and fostering innovation within their sector. Description • Oversee the implementation, management, and optimisation of HR systems to meet organisational needs. • Be the Workday SME for the Business and lead the People Systems Teams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR technology solutions. • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for HR systems, aligning with business goals. • Provide leadership and guidance on system upgrades, improvements, and data management. • Analyse HR data and generate actionable insights to support decision-making processes. • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain system security standards. • Lead the training and development of HR and wider teams on system functionalities. • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to HR technology solutions. Profile A successful Head of HR Systems should have: • Strong expertise in managing and implementing HR systems within a corporate setting. • Extensive experience in Workday and other HR systems (Smart Recruiter, Npower) • Proven ability to align HR technology with organisational objectives. • Experience in analysing HR data to inform strategic decisions. • Knowledge of current HR technology trends and best practices in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry. • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. • Understanding of compliance requirements for data protection and system security. • Ability to lead and inspire teams to adopt new processes and technologies.
