The head of Supply Chain will lead/optimise end-to-end supply chain operations, integrating S&OP, leading a systems implementation and supporting the business as they move towards best in class supply chain operations. Description The role of Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for: • Lead the S&OP process to align milk intake, processing capacity, and customer demand. Align outputs to financial and operational target • Develop and execute the procurement strategy to ensure quality, cost and supplier reliability • Oversee customer service operations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness • Managing the various routes to market from a logistics perspective, ensuring cost-effective delivery • Lead the multi-site planning function • Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the business objectives growth and sustainability goals • Manage and continue to develop a high performing team, with clear succession planning Profile A successful Head of Supply Chain should have: • Proven experience in a senior supply chain role within the FMCG industry. • Strong leadership and decision-making skills. • Expertise in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management. • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. • Ability to analyse data and implement strategic improvements. • Knowledge of supply chain software and tools. • Previous examples of leading and developing S&OP, improving procurement and optimising logistics • A degree or relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
