Health and Safety Advisor (Logistics / Warehousing) £38,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Monday - Friday + Company Benefits Colchester, Essex Are you a Health and Safety Advisor from a Logistics / Warehousing or similar background looking for an autonomous role establishing a new team within a well-established, multi-faceted group of companies who pride themselves on looking after and developing staff offering a range of ongoing progression opportunities to leadership roles? This leading group of companies have a broad presence across numerous sectors including Industrial, Logistics and Shipping with over 150 years of experience and operations across multiple continents. This role falls within the Logistics subsidiary of the wider group, and has arisen due to an ever increasing workload meaning creation of a new department in the South East. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for setting up a new H&S team covering numerous sites in and around Colchester. You will be the go-to person for implementing processes and procedures, hiring new staff and training both internal and external staff. In addition to the leadership responsibilities, you will undertake some hands on work- especially in early stages of the role- such as inspections, audits and compliance. This role would suit a Health and Safety Advisor or similar from a Logistics / Warehousing background looking for a technical leadership role within a well-established group of companies offering the chance to grow a team around you and further develop your career.
