Job SummaryWe are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Harvey Group Practice. The successful candidate will work alongside our GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to provide high-quality care to our patients. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties • Carry out blood pressure monitoring and pulse checks • Record height, weight, BMI, and other basic observations • Undertake ECGs and urine testing • Carry out NHS Health Checks and support chronic disease management reviews • Administer specific vaccinations and B12 injections (following appropriate training and protocols) • Support wound care and dressings • Assist with minor procedures as required • Accurately record information and observations in the patient record using appropriate clinical systems Infection Control & Environment • Conduct daily clinical room checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness • Clean and maintain clinical areas and equipment in line with infection control protocols • Support the implementation of infection prevention and control measures Stock & Supplies • Carry out stock ordering for clinical rooms and treatment areas • Complete regular stock checks and ensure correct storage of medical supplies • Monitor expiry dates and maintain accurate stock levels General • Work collaboratively with all members of the practice team • Participate in team meetings, audits, and training sessions • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times • Comply with all practice policies and procedures Job description Job responsibilities Job SummaryWe are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Harvey Group Practice.
