Job SummaryWe are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Harvey Group Practice. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
•
Carry out blood pressure monitoring and pulse checks
•
Record height, weight, BMI, and other basic observations
•
Undertake ECGs and urine testing
•
Carry out NHS Health Checks and support chronic disease management reviews
•
Administer specific vaccinations and B12 injections (following appropriate training and protocols)
•
Support wound care and dressings
•
Assist with minor procedures as required
•
Accurately record information and observations in the patient record using appropriate clinical systems
Infection Control & Environment
•
Conduct daily clinical room checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness
•
Clean and maintain clinical areas and equipment in line with infection control protocols
•
Support the implementation of infection prevention and control measures
Stock & Supplies
•
Carry out stock ordering for clinical rooms and treatment areas
•
Complete regular stock checks and ensure correct storage of medical supplies
•
Monitor expiry dates and maintain accurate stock levels
General
•
Work collaboratively with all members of the practice team
•
Participate in team meetings, audits, and training sessions
•
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
•
Comply with all practice policies and procedures
