JOB TITLE: Health Care Assistant MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB 1. Ensuring patients are effectively and courteously dealt with. 2. To ensure continuous development and updating of skills 3. Maintaining confidentiality at all times. 4. Working within Health & Safety guidelines. 5. Ensuring general tidiness of work areas. DUTIES TO INCLUDE 1. To carry out new patient registration checks 2. To act as chaperone when required 3. Preparing and assisting with minor surgery/coil fittings/implants 4. To ensure stock items are ordered and provided in GP & Treatment rooms, and emergency equipment is maintained appropriately 5. ECGs 6. Blood Pressure 7. Urine Testing 8. Vene-puncture 9. Undertaking and recording measurement of height & weight 10.
