Health & Social Care Teacher South East London September 2026 Start One-Term Contract Initially MPS1-MPS6 / UPS1-UPS3 (Dependent on Experience) An innovative and inclusive secondary school in South East London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health & Social Care Teacher to join its successful vocational and social sciences provision from September 2026. The Role • Teach Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5. • Deliver engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of health, social care and related career pathways. • Support students in achieving strong academic and vocational outcomes. • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and enrichment opportunities. • Work collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing department. The Ideal Candidate • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification recognised by UK NARIC. • Has experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level. • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice. • Is committed to helping all students achieve their potential. • Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and attendance. • This position would suit both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to join a highly supportive school with a strong commitment to staff development and student success.
