HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Northampton (NN4 7PW) The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Northampton. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team. Location: Northampton, NN4 7PW Job Type: Ongoing Work Pay Rate: • £18.50 per hour PAYE Hours & Shift Patterns: • Monday to Friday • Night shifts • Start times vary from mid-afternoon through to 20:00 • Average 10-hour shifts • Ongoing, consistent work available The Role: • Completing trunking work between the client’s hubs • Completing up to 2 runs per shift • Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time • Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift • Completing all necessary paperwork accurately • Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations • Maintaining a professional approach at all times Requirements: • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • New passes welcome • Maximum 6 points for minor offences only • Valid CPC and Digi Card • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work What’s on Offer: • £18.50 per hour PAYE • Monday to Friday working • Varied start times from mid-afternoon through to 20:00 • Average 10-hour shifts • Straightforward trunking work • Up to 2 runs per shift • New passes welcome • Ongoing, consistent work • Supportive and driver-focused transport team To apply, please submit your CV or contact our team for more information.
