Job Description: HGV Class 2 Driver Pay Rate: £18.25 per hour Working Days: Monday to Friday Contract Type: Temp to Perm About the Role We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a busy and growing operation. You will be working as part of a two-person delivery crew, delivering large household goods to customers across the region while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle. • Complete deliveries to residential and commercial locations. • Work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team. • Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete all relevant paperwork. • Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. • Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times. • Comply with all road transport legislation and company procedures. • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required. Physical Requirements • This is a physically demanding role involving regular heavy lifting. • Deliveries are completed as part of a two-person crew. • Candidates must be comfortable with manual handling throughout the working day. Requirements • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence. • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card. • Valid Digital Tachograph Card. • Good understanding of UK driving regulations. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach. • Previous multidrop, home delivery, furniture delivery, or similar experience is advantageous.
