HGV Driver Nights

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. *New pass welcome* Shift (Full time or part time) - • Nights - Shifts across Sunday to Saturday - 23:59pm Starts • Part Time - Friday night and Sunday Night Pay Rate: Class 2 • Nights -£17.42 per hour PAYE Class 1 • Nights -£17.92 per hour PAYE • Location: Crawley RH10 Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent The role: · Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. · Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. · Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. · Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: . Experience would be preferred but new passes will be considered · Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C) · Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset.
