HGV Technician

HGV Technician Location: Berkshire Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary • £45,200 - £55,000 OTE • Overtime available • On-call rota: 1 week in 4 Hours • Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm • 40 hours per week The Role We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, light commercial vehicles and specialist equipment. Responsibilities • Service, maintain and repair HGVs and light vehicles • Carry out MOT preparation, PMIs and fault diagnosis • Complete repairs to a high standard • Attend breakdowns and satellite depots when required • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards Requirements • 5+ years' HGV/commercial vehicle maintenance experience or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills • Full UK Driving Licence • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems Desirable: • Welding/fabrication experience • Category C Licence This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business offering a varied role, excellent facilities and ongoing training.
