Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Clacton-on-Sea - September StartProspero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in Clacton-on-Sea, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking to take the next step in their career, supporting teaching and learning across the school while making a positive impact on pupils' educational outcomes. The school is looking for a committed HLTA with strong classroom management skills, confidence in leading learning activities, and a genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential. CONTRACT DETAILSLocation - Clacton-on-Sea Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Type of work - Classroom support and lesson cover Start date - September Duration - Ongoing / Long-term Full time/part-time - Full time Rate of pay - Minimum £110 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a UK school • HLTA status or relevant qualifications desirable • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum • Experience delivering interventions and supporting whole-class learning • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one • Provide two professional child-related references OTHER INFORMATIONIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
