Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Full Time

Slough, Berkshire Start Date: September 2026 Full Time | Term Time Only We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive primary school team from September 2026. This is a full-time position for the academic year, primarily supporting pupils across Years 3 to 5. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting class teachers and leading whole-class lessons when required. The successful candidate will: • Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience. • Have experience working within a primary school setting. • Be confident leading whole-class teaching and learning. • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. • Demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude. • Work effectively as part of a dedicated team. Interview Process Interviews will be held over the coming weeks and will consist of: • Delivering a lesson that has been planned by a class teacher. • Candidates who are successful at this stage will be invited to remain for a formal interview with the panel.
