Overview We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures • Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy • Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system • Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to high standards • Process payments accurately and handle billing queries • Maintain accurate records of guest information and preferences • Address guest concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction • Uphold hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure safety and security Requirements • Proven experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently • Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine desire to assist guests • Knowledge of guest services standards within the hospitality industry • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary This role offers an engaging environment where your interpersonal skills can shine while contributing positively to our guests’ stay.
