Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Manager to take ownership of a diverse housing patch, delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service across residential and mixed-tenure properties. You’ll act as the face of the organisation within the community, managing around 650 homes and leading on all aspects of tenancy and estate management. This is a hands-on role where you’ll build strong relationships with residents, ensure compliance and safety standards are met, and respond to a wide range of housing issues. Contract Length: 3 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday | 09:00 – 17:00 – approximately 3 days a week in the community Hourly rate: £29.70 (Umbrella) Location: Bexley area Please note that an Enhanced Adults DBS is required for this role Key Responsibilities: • Manage the end-to-end customer journey, including tenancy visits and ongoing engagement • Handle tenancy management matters such as ASB, safeguarding, disputes, and legal processes • Carry out estate and property inspections, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve repairs and community issues • Oversee estate services, including service charges, arrears queries, and contractor performance • Represent the organisation at external meetings and support multi-agency working The successful candidate will have: • Experience within housing or tenancy management • Confident managing complex cases including ASB and safeguarding • Highly organised, able to manage your own patch independently • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
