Our client is looking for someone on a contract basis as a property professional to help primarily undertake some non-residential property/land asset disposals. There may also be some acquisitions potentially involved in the commission as well as potentially some lease renewals and reviews. Below is a short outline of the requirements in respect of the asset disposals work. Functions in respect of Property Asset Disposals part only: • Advise on the most effective disposal strategy (sale, lease, auction, tender, or transfer). • Carry out or commission property valuations. • Estimate market value and disposal proceeds. • Prepare property for disposal. • Negotiate terms and contractual conditions. • Manage bids and offers. • Liaise with stakeholders. • Present recommendations to the client. • Instruct solicitors and monitor legal progress. • Ensure disposals comply with legislation, planning requirements, and organisational policies. • Manage any completion processes including the removal of the property from the asset control systems.
