HR Advisor Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact? Do you enjoy building relationships, supporting employees, and working as a trusted advisor within a busy manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our HR team and play a key role in supporting both employees and management across the site. About the Role You will be directly deporting to the HR Manager, providing expert HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with leaders and employees, helping to drive engagement, support employee wellbeing, and ensure HR best practice is delivered consistently. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting approximately 400 employees. You'll be a visible presence on site and a trusted point of contact for a wide range of HR matters. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. • Support employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters. • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and employee development activities. • Coach and support managers on HR policies and procedures. • Help drive employee engagement, wellbeing and site initiatives. • Support organisational change and continuous improvement projects. • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting. • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure a positive employee experience. About You We're looking for someone who combines strong HR knowledge with excellent people skills. Essential Requirements • Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role or similar. • Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering or production environment (Essential). • Strong employee relations experience. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to build credibility and relationships at all levels of the business. • A positive, approachable and engaging personality. Desirable • Experience working with trade unions. • Exposure to a large, multi-site or global organisation. • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD accreditation.
