The HR and Payroll Officer will manage payroll processing and support HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in the not-for-profit sector. This fixed-term contract role requires a detail-oriented individual to handle sensitive employee information with accuracy and confidentiality. Their Human Resources department plays a key role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting the academy goals. Description • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to legal and organisational requirements. • Maintain and update employee records, including contracts, benefits, and leave balances. • Support recruitment activities, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires. • Coordinate employee training and development programmes in line with organisational needs. • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to staff and management. • Assist with employee relations matters, including handling queries and supporting investigations. • Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews. • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure payroll budgets align with forecasts.
