HV/LV Jointer Field-Based - Covering East Anglia & Surrounding Areas Up to £60,000 DOE + Company Van + Fuel Card + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Pension + Death in Service + Laptop + Phone + Printer + EAP Are you an experienced HV/LV Jointer looking to join a growing High Voltage engineering business delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK? Do you want to work for a specialist company that offers excellent earning potential through overtime and door-to-door travel, whilst working on a wide variety of HV construction and maintenance projects? This established High Voltage engineering business provides turnkey installation, maintenance and asset management services across the UK's electrical infrastructure sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced HV/LV Jointer to support the safe delivery of construction, maintenance and fault response activities across their expanding project portfolio. In this role, you'll undertake cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV, carry out testing, fault finding and certification of electrical networks, and support both planned construction projects and reactive maintenance activities. You'll work closely with project managers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with DNO, IDNO and G81 standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience carrying out HV cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV, alongside a strong understanding of switching activities, safe systems of work and electrical testing. Experience working on DNO, IDNO or ICP projects would be highly advantageous. The Role: • Carry out HV/LV cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV • Undertake testing, fault finding and certification of electrical installations and distribution networks • Support both construction projects and planned/reactive maintenance activities • Assist with switching operations and work in accordance with Distribution Safety Rules • Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with DNO, IDNO and G81 specifications • Liaise with operational teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time • Travel to customer sites across East Anglia and surrounding regions The Person: • Previous experience as an HV/LV Jointer or Cable Jointer • Experience carrying out cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV • Knowledge of electrical testing, fault finding and certification • Understanding of switching activities and safe systems of work • Experience working to DNO, IDNO or G81 specifications is desirable • Full UK Driving Licence Reference Number: BBBH276935 To apply for this role or to be considered for further roles, please click "Apply Now" or contact Nathan Williams at Rise Technical Recruitment.
