Information Security Analyst (Contract)
Day Rate: Up to £300 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract: 6-month rolling contract

You'll play a key role in protecting business-critical systems, operational technology and data by monitoring security controls, assessing risk, supporting audits and driving cyber security best practice across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative security team working in a complex, enterprise environment.
What you'll do
• Monitor and improve information security controls across the IT estate.
• Support risk assessments, internal audits and compliance activities.
• Investigate security incidents, phishing reports and alerts.
• Produce regular security reporting, metrics and risk updates.
• Support vulnerability management and security testing.
• Deliver cyber security awareness initiatives and training.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen security governance.
• Maintain security documentation and provide guidance on security best practice.
What you'll bring
• Previous experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security or IT Security Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of security principles including risk management, vulnerability management, incident response and access control.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or Cyber Essentials.
• Experience with common security technologies such as endpoint protection, firewalls, authentication and logging tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SC-900, Network+ or ISO 27001 are desirable.
