Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of multiple installation and delivery projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This is an office-based role managing a high volume of small projects simultaneously. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for quoting, surveying, procurement, scheduling, commercial management, client communication and project close-out. This is a hands-on senior delivery position suited to an experienced professional who can work autonomously, take ownership of their projects, and deliver excellent commercial and operational outcomes. Project Delivery • Manage multiple installation projects concurrently from enquiry through to completion and handover. • Conduct site surveys and assess project requirements. • Produce quotations, specifications and project documentation. • Act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle. • Issue completion documentation and ensure successful project close-out. Technical Planning • Produce and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Apply sound technical judgement to both standard and bespoke project requirements. • Ensure projects are delivered in line with customer requirements and industry standards. Procurement & Materials Management • Procure and manage materials required for project delivery. • Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules. • Ensure materials are available to support installation timelines. Scheduling & Coordination • Coordinate engineers, operational teams, subcontractors and site access requirements. • Schedule works effectively to ensure multiple projects progress simultaneously. • Resolve operational challenges and maintain project delivery targets. Commercial Management • Manage project budgets, costs and variations. • Maintain commercial control throughout the project lifecycle. • Monitor profitability and ensure accurate project reporting. • Support the completion of final accounts. Customer Management • Build and maintain strong customer relationships. • Provide clear and proactive communication throughout project delivery. • Ensure a high standard of customer service at all stages of the project. Experience Essential • Several years' experience running a high volume of smaller installation, fit-out, maintenance or service-delivery projects end-to-end from an office or coordination base. • Experience gained within a project-led, technical or operational environment. • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects rather than a single large project. • Hands-on experience carrying out your own: • Quoting and estimating • Materials ordering and procurement • Project scheduling and coordination • Budget and variation management • Ability to read, interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications. • Strong client-facing skills with the confidence to operate autonomously and make decisions independently. Desirable • Experience within a technical installation, service delivery or specialist contracting environment. • Familiarity with Simpro or similar job/project management software. • CAD or technical drawing software experience.
