About the RoleAs an Instructor Demonstrator – Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering at Coleg Cambria, you will: • Support and deliver practical engineering sessions within a modern workshop environment, • Demonstrate industry-standard techniques and practical skills across mechanical and maintenance engineering disciplines, • Prepare tools, equipment, and materials to support engaging and effective learning experiences, • Work closely with curriculum teams to plan practical activities and support learner development, • Maintain high standards of health and safety, workshop organisation, and equipment maintenance, • Support learner progress through record keeping, practical assessments, and ongoing feedback. What We’re Looking For • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related subject area, • Relevant industry experience within Mechanical and/or Maintenance Engineering, • The ability to confidently deliver and demonstrate practical engineering skills to learners, • Strong IT, communication, and organisational skills, • A passion for supporting and developing learners in a practical workshop environment, • Welsh language skills are desirable for this role.
