Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Officer (Claims) to join our client's Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity to support claims management activities, work with a variety of stakeholders, and contribute to the effective delivery of insurance services within a busy environment. Key Details: • Contract: Temporary • Contract Duration: Initially 3 months • Location: Norwich (NR7) • Working Pattern: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office, every Thursday) • Rate: £14.44 per hour • Start Date: ASAP Role Responsibilities: • Manage insurance claims through the full claims lifecycle • Investigate claims and review information to identify discrepancies and potential risks • Liaise with brokers, insurers, claim handlers, surveyors and loss adjusters • Support the resolution of insurance-related complaints and queries • Maintain accurate claims records, reporting and documentation • Ensure compliance with insurance policies, procedures and legal requirements • Assist in the delivery of insurance awareness and training initiatives • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced service delivery Required Experience: • Experience working in a high-volume administrative, transactional or insurance-related environment • Strong attention to detail and investigative skills • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong organisational and time management abilities • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook • Customer-focused with the ability to build effective working relationships Desirable: • Buildings or liability insurance experience • Previous claims handling experience • ACII qualification or working towards an insurance qualification • Experience within the social housing sector If this role is of interest, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
