Are you an Accounts Receivable professional looking for your next opportunity? Do you enjoy working in fast-paced finance teams where no two days are the same? Looking to join a large, well-established not-for-profit organisation? We're delighted to be supporting a leading London-based not-for-profit organisation in the recruitment of an Interim Accounts Receivable Officer on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Joining a busy and collaborative finance team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the sales ledger whilst also supporting bank reconciliations across a complex banking environment. Key responsibilities include: • Managing customer accounts and maintaining the sales ledger • Chasing outstanding debt and resolving customer account queries • Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining accurate records • Processing cash receipts and allocating payments • Completing bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts • Investigating and clearing suspense account balances • Supporting the team to meet month-end deadlines and reporting requirements This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume finance function where you'll receive full training on the organisation's systems while developing your experience across both Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations. The role is offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to provide cover for a long-term absence, with the potential to become permanent. An attractive hybrid working pattern is on offer, with one day per week in the London office and the remainder from home. To be considered, please meet the following criteria: • Around 2–3 years' experience within an Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger role • Experience carrying out bank reconciliations • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills • Confident communicating with customers and resolving queries • Able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy finance environment If you're looking to develop your career within a large and complex finance function, we'd love to hear from you.
