Interim Commercial Executive - 6 months FTC Location: Hybrid – 1 day per week in Head Office Contract: Interim Salary: Competitive + Benefits Reed are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Interim Commercial Executive to join their Commercial team on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused professional to support supplier management, commercial projects and operational service delivery across a large estate. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring supplier services are delivered effectively, invoices are processed accurately and commercial initiatives are implemented successfully across the business. The Role As Interim Commercial Executive, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating key service providers and supporting a range of commercial projects. You will act as an important link between suppliers, operational teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of services and excellent standards across the estate. Key Responsibilities • Manage supplier invoicing and spend across multiple service providers • Ensure supplier invoices are approved and paid accurately and on time • Liaise with suppliers to resolve service issues raised by operational teams • Support Business Development Managers with requests for additional services • Assist in the delivery of seasonal programmes, including summer and winter planting initiatives • Ensure services are in place following capital investment projects • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve value from suppliers • Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence • Support commercial projects, trials and business improvement initiatives • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal departments About You To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and highly organised individual who enjoys building relationships and solving problems. Skills & Experience • Previous experience in a commercial, supplier management, operations support or administrative role • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills • Effective problem-solving capabilities • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently • Positive, motivated and adaptable approach to work What You'll Be Working On You will work closely with suppliers delivering key operational services, as well as internal teams across Operations and Finance, helping to ensure commercial services are delivered efficiently and effectively throughout the business. Working Arrangement This is a hybrid position with attendance at Head Office required at least one day per week, alongside occasional visits into the operational estate to gather feedback and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
