An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to join a busy procurement function delivering a diverse portfolio of procurement projects across multiple service areas. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who can confidently manage end-to-end tender exercises, framework competitions and complex procurement projects ranging from £100k to multi-million-pound contracts.

Description
• Manage end-to-end procurement's from planning and strategy through to contract award and mobilisation.
• Deliver a range of tender exercises, framework competitions and call-off contracts.
• Provide commercial and procurement advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant public procurement legislation and internal governance requirements.
• Develop procurement strategies that deliver value for money and manage risk effectively.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and support them through the procurement process.
• Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously while meeting challenging deadlines.
• Support contract and supplier management activities where required.
Profile
A successful Interim Procurement Manager (Generalist) should have:
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end public sector procurement exercises.
• Strong understanding of procurement legislation, frameworks and tendering processes.
• Experience managing procurements valued from £100k through to several million pounds.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to win "hearts and minds".
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build credibility quickly and deliver against commitments.
• Organised, resilient and capable of managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
Job Offer
• Competitive daily rate of £450 to £550 GBP.
