Inventory Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-focused Inventory Manager to join our Rotherham multi-user site. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and visibility of stock across the operation, while leading a team responsible for maintaining efficient stock control processes. This role offers the chance to work closely with both internal teams and customers, driving improvements and ensuring best-in-class inventory management. This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: • Oversee end-to-end stock management, from receipt through to dispatch • Lead and develop the Stock team, ensuring high performance and engagement • Maintain and improve stock accuracy, reporting, and audit compliance (SOX/PWC) • Manage cycle counting, stock audits, and inventory control processes • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient stock flow and operational support What you need to succeed at GXO: • Proven experience in a stock/inventory management role within a warehousing environment • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and continuous improvement We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
