Job Specification: IT Support Technician (Level 2) We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Technician to provide comprehensive deskside support at our Mossmorran site. This is a fixed-term contract focused on maintaining high-quality end-user computing (EUC) services. Core Details • Site Location: Mossmorran • Contract Duration:Full time position until end of August followed by Scheduled Visits 1-2 times per week • Technician Level: Level 2 • Pay of rate: £150 per day Services in Scope The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Deskside support: PC, laptop, peripherals, software • Printer Support • Staging Scope of Work & Required Skills We are looking for a professional with a logical and analytical approach who can work independently while maintaining an intense focus on quality. Technical Skills: • Good general understanding of IT principles such as Networks, Hardware and Domains • Working knowledge of leading software packages such as MS Office and Lotus Notes • Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and related software and applications • Good experience in End User device hardware and software troubleshooting • Knowledge of mobile devices, in particular Blackberry and iPhones • Experience with building, configuring, replacing and troubleshooting EUC hardware components • Good Experience in Data Backup Techniques • Familiarity with virtual, MDM and VPN environments • Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM would be advantageous • Knowledge of ITIL and experience of working within an ITIL environment would, knowledge and experience of working in Service NOW Professional Attributes: • Exceptional customer facing skills • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with end users • Accurate record keeping • Good timekeeper • Productive and Efficient Compliance & Onboarding Requirements Engineer have to perform Sterling BGV and proceed with onboarding before accessing the site. Also we will have to procure PPE, if engineer doesn't have it. Sterling check includes: • Criminal record check • Govt. ID check • Employment Check (last 5 years) • Educational check • Global Sanctions Check • Motor vehicle record check
